Foundation Programme

The first step towards a career in dance.

The Foundation Programme at Connected Dance College is the ideal pathway for those who wish to approach dance with method, energy and professional guidance from an early age.

 

Designed to accompany young talents from their first steps into the world of dance, the programme offers structured pre-academic training divided into two levels, allowing each student to grow according to age, maturity and technical preparation.

 

A stimulating, creative and educational environment, where passion turns into skills and where each student learns to move with awareness, confidence and expressiveness.

There are two different options for attending the course:

 

Formula 1

Attend one class per month for a total of seven months.

​

Formula 2 ( +16 yo)

Three weeks in which you can study full time by taking one of the CDC Professional Courses during the academic year.

First level of training

From 11 to 15 years old


For those who wish to build solid foundations in dance from a young age. The approach is gradual and
supportive, ideal for preparing for a future academic pathway.

 

Main objectives:

  • discover the main dance styles: ballet, contemporary, modern jazz

  • develop technique, correct posture and coordination

  • improve mobility, musicality and body control

  • cultivate creativity and interpretation

Second level of training

From 16 years old

 

Dedicated to older students who wish to consolidate technique and preparation in view of a possible
professional pathway.


Main objectives:

  • discover the main dance styles: classical, contemporary, modern jazz

  • work on movement quality, dynamics and expressiveness

  • develop artistic awareness and stage presence

  • prepare for auditions and academic study
